Quality & Safety

Wilhelm von Humboldt once said: "Without safety, there is no freedom". We at Syntrion do everything so that you can feel free.

It seems we hear news far too often of contaminated products and of products containing undeclared, potentially dangerous additives. People everywhere are increasingly unsure what they can still eat, wear, take, or put on their skin without having to worry.

At Syntrion, we invest in product quality and safety to make everyone’s experience with our remedies a positive one.

Our standards include:

GMP

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are internationally valid guidelines which regulate how and under which conditions pharmaceuticals must be manufactured.

GMP sets strict criteria for the environment in which we make our products. For example, GMP guidelines require us to keep our production rooms free of any substances and items which are not directly required for production in order to prevent contamination and mix-ups. Workers in production areas are required to wear face masks, safety footwear, and protective suits. The point of doing so is not only to protect the workers, but also to protect the products from accidental contamination through such simple things as invisible germs on skin, saliva, and breath.

GMP conformant production means: it’s not enough to look clean; it truly needs to be clean. Even impurities that we can neither see nor smell nor hear must be kept out of the production process. Our compliance with all current GMP guidelines means health care professionals and patients can be sure that we make our remedies in a hygienic environment, resulting in safe, wholesome products that can be used without worry.

Pharmacopoeias

The German Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia and the European Pharmacopoeia are considered the gold standards for the production of homeopathy worldwide. Both pharmacopoeias set strict guidelines for the ingredients and procedures used to manufacture our products.

The pharmacopoeias require us to test raw materials and finished products and assure that they are free from contaminants, such as heavy metals and toxic chemicals. Quality of raw materials is not only controlled at harvest or delivery, but also directly before the start of production to ensure continuous purity. All packaging materials must be thoroughly tested to insure that they contain no toxic chemicals or impurities. Only production methods that are gentle on raw materials and finished products, and which have been demonstrated to be truly useful and necessary, may be used.

Drug Registration and Administration Act

The German Ministry of Health is responsible for certifying that all pharmaceutical manufacturers comply with all valid GMP and pharmacopoeial rules. Only manufacturers who truly comply with every guideline without exception may manufacture medicines and cosmetics.

The German government inspects the facilities in which we make our remedies once every two years. Therefore, both health care professionals and patients can be confident that we always comply with the highest international and national standards for the manufacture of safe, reliable natural medicines to give everyone the safety and purity they need to feel good.

Going beyond

In addition, we pay attention to details which make all the difference, such as:

GMP standards, compliance with trusted pharmacopoeias, conformance with national and international government regulations, and Syntrion’s own passion for quality and safety give health care professionals and patients the security they need, making it possible for everyone to use natural products of the highest quality without worry.
